Australians left 'confused' over where the Coalition stands on energy

Independent MP Allegra Spender says Opposition leader Peter Dutton and the Coalition have left Australians “confused” on where it stands on its energy policies. It comes as Mr Dutton on Tuesday during a media conference after he confirmed that the Coalition will not commit to a new 2030 climate target before the election. “Australian people don’t know what they're signing up for if he won’t take a target to the next election. “It seems to be a lot of confusion frankly from the Coalition over the last few days and over the energy policy more broadly. “And I think the community doesn’t really know what they stand for, and it sounds like Peter doesn’t want to tell them either.”
