Australians ‘on tenterhooks’ after RBA rate decisions

Independent MP Allegra Spender says Australians are “on tenterhooks” after the Reserve Bank’s cash rate decisions. Wages grew on average by 0.8 per cent in the June quarter, according to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. “People in my community, some of them may have bought bigger houses but frankly, they have got very big mortgages,” Ms Spender told Sky News Australia.
