Australians ‘really need’ rate relief from RBA

Hawker Britton co-founder Bruce Hawker says Australians “really do need” interest rate relief from the Reserve Bank. Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Finance Minister Katy Gallagher handed down the government’s Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook on Wednesday. “These are tough times for everybody,” Mr Hawker told Sky News Australia. “I think it just goes to show that we really do need to have some relief from the RBA in terms of interest rates.”
