Australians ‘should not’ be in Lebanon

Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham says Australians “should not” be in Lebanon. The Israeli military has confirmed they killed a Hezbollah commander in the latest targeted strike in the south of Beirut. “The first thing though should always be to think of Australians,” Mr Birmingham told Sky News Australia. “And the message has been clear for some time: Australians should not be in Lebanon, they should not have travelled there, they should have left there and heeded the warnings.”
