Australians would be ‘a lot worse off’ under Coalition: Gallagher

Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says Australians would be “a lot worse off” under a Coalition government. The Treasurer has defended Labor’s economic management after a report from Deloitte Access Economics predicted a budget deficit of $33.5 billion. “We’d be a lot worse off if the other mob were in charge because they have voted against energy bill relief, they have voted against Medicare investments, they’ve voted against housing,” Ms Gallagher told Sky News Australia. “We get that people are doing it tough, but it would’ve been a lot tougher under the other mob.”
