Aviation sector local players too deserve government support

Local aviation players operating domestically and regionally are hopeful that the government will extend financial support to the sector similar to the support given to Uganda Airlines. Tony Rubombora, the founder of Eagle Air, expressed this sentiment during the airline's 30th-anniversary celebration. He highlighted that providing support to private sector players in this capital-intensive and turbulent industry would significantly contribute to the country's economic growth.
