Awarding of government medals - Presidential awards committee meets stakeholders in Teso sub-region

Following complains from public on how persons are always selected to be awarded government medals, this prompted the Office of the President to embark on an outreach program on sensitized the public on how these medals are rewarded. The team which has now spent two days in Teso Subregion, sensitized the people on the transparency of this program is led by Hajat Saminah Malole, the Chancellor of the Presidential Awards Committee.
