At least 38 people were killed after an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday (Dec 25). Flight J2-8243 flew hundreds of miles off its scheduled route from Azerbaijan to Russia, before it was forced to make an emergency landing near the Kazakh city of Aktau.
