B'dos Muslim Association condemns viral video
The Barbados Muslim Association has condemned the viral video circulating on social media, where a visitor to the island is recording local Muslims, and hurling derogatory terms towards them as they walked through the Crane Hotel in St. Philip. They were wearing shirts saying "Free Palestine", and in the video the visitor can be heard saying "Here comes the Islamist invasion, pretending to be humans". The Crane confirmed that the incident involved one of their timeshare owners. President of the Muslim Association Anwar Nana has responded. He said it was heartwarming to see the support of Barbadians online, speaking up on behalf of the Muslim community.
