Two B.C. First Nations, the Namgis and the Kwikwasut'inuxw Haxwa'mis, are taking the federal government and fish farm companies to court to try to overturn a decision allowing the farms to continue operating in B.C. for another five years. Bob Chamberlin with the First Nation Wild Salmon Alliance tells BC Today host Michelle Eliot that fish farms represent an ongoing infringement of Indigenous rights and pose a direct threat to salmon.
