‘Bad pick’: Concerns JD Vance might ‘drag down’ Donald Trump

Daschle Group President and COO Nathan Daschle says there is some sense JD Vance was a “bad pick” as former US president Donald Trump’s running mate and he might “drag down the ticket”. “I did see a poll the other day that had America’s favourite things in politics and least favourite things and Tim Walz believe it or not was plus seven in terms of favourability and JD Vance was negative 13,” Mr Daschle told Sky News Australia. “I think some of that is a reflection of the very positive news cycles that Harris and Walz have had over the past few weeks. “The debate will reset those VP numbers for sure.”
