Bajans urged to take weather warnings seriously

The biggest headache facing Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs Wilfred Abrahams is that of disaster preparedness. And he urges Barbadians to take all weather warnings seriously. He also encouraged members of the St. George North Constituency to join District Emergency Organisations. He was speaking during their annual general meeting held over the weekend. Mr Abrahams says local weather officials try their best to provide information on approaching weather systems at the earliest opportunity. However, he says, in some cases there are irregularities in weather patterns.
