One Bangkok resident said the dismissal of Srettha Thavisin from his role as the prime minister of Thailand wasn’t unexpected, but another expressed concern about the economy. "I think if politics continues like this, the economy won’t be able to move forward," said Wilai, a 60-year-old bookshop owner who only provided her first name. Thailand is again gripped by political drama less than a year after Srettha rose to power following weeks of parliamentary deadlock, with his Pheu Thai Party scrambling to retain control. “I'm not too shocked because this is how Thailand is," said 65-year-old street food stall owner, Somsakul Rueangpirom. Pheu Thai will meet to choose a successor for Srettha, as it races to shore up its alliance ahead of a pivotal parliamentary vote on a new prime minister. - Report from Reuters For more ABS-CBN News videos, click the link below: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgyY1WylJUmgUHWUpi2ioSp4xAP1SmAaf For more latest news and analysis from ABS-CBN News videos, click the link below: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgyY1WylJUmg4pcvfM9a96rbUcLD_0P_U For more News Digital News Raw Cuts, click the link below: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgyY1WylJUmi83yKJH8Dv0p_3D4cyZKzV Subscribe to the ABS-CBN News channel! - http://bit.ly/TheABSCBNNews Watch the full episodes of TV Patrol on iWantTFC: http://bit.ly/TVPatrol-iWantTFC Visit our website at http://news.abs-cbn.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/abscbnNEWS Twitter: https://twitter.com/abscbnnews #Exclusive #LatestNews #ABSCBNNews
