Bangladeshi preacher used passport with different name to enter Singapore to give extremist sermon

Singapore authorities are investigating a Bangladeshi extremist preacher who gave an illegal sermon to migrant workers at a dormitory in Tuas on Aug 9. The preacher, Amir Hamza, managed to enter Singapore because he used a passport with a name different from what was in the country’s security databases, said the Ministry of Home Affairs on Aug 21.
