Barbadians in for a treat with We Gatherin' 2025
We Gatherin' 2025 is just a few days away. It kicks off in St. Lucy on January 1st, with a big motorcade. Special Advisor on Culture and Cultural Heritage in the Division of Culture in the Prime Minister's Office Senator John King says Barbadians are in for a treat all 2025. He was speaking at a Kwanzaa celebration put on by Ujima, at the Engozie Farm and Cultural Centre in Turner's Hall, St. Andrew. He adds the entire We Gatherin' experience is geared towards showing Barbadians we are one big family, while creating a space to reintroduce some of the values from years before. Mr. King also stated at the end of the celebration he hopes Barbadians are able to learn something new as well as make new friends and have that sense of togetherness.
