The decision by Member of Parliament for Christ Church South, Ralph Thorne to cross the floor of Parliament has come as a surprise to many. The move to break ranks with the Barbados Labour Party in the House of Assembly to become the island's next Opposition Leader has been a major talking point among Barbadians.
