Barbadians urged to keep their properties clean

In light of the recent heavy showers that resulted in pockets of flooding across the island, Barbadians now have another reason to keep their properties and environment clean. Director of the Centre for Biosecurity Studies, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Dr. Kirk Douglas says it is important Barbadians keep their properties clean to prevent themselves and loved ones from being infected with mosquito-borne viruses. Dr. Douglas made the appeal while speaking on CBC TV8's Mornin' Barbados about the island's first West Nile Virus case.
