Barbados at a crossroads

Barbados is at a crossroads and it is impacting what used to be the natural flow of society. Minister of Elder Affairs and People Empowerment Kirk Humphrey speaking at the annual general meeting of the Barbados Labour Party St. Michael South Central branch meeting talked about the island's ageing population and the need to make changes to ensure they are well cared for. Member of Parliament for the area Marsha Caddle says a lot of the issues of today can be tackled through conversations. With reference to juvenile violence, she says you can't tell them not to be violent and then inflict violence upon them.
