Barbados lauded for efforts to boost trade and ties

Barbados' efforts to boost trade and ties have been hailed as a model member countries of the Organisation of American States can learn from. Highlighting efforts by the island to boost ties with Panama, Executive Director of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry Misha Loban-Clarke says a recent trade mission and the signing of a memorandum of understanding have served as a catalyst for deepening trade and economic cooperation. She suggests these efforts can be a guide for the OAS. Ms. Loban-Clarke's comments came as she participated in a regular meeting of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development.
