Barbados set to be emergency management hub

Barbados is set to be the hub for emergency management in the Caribbean. By January 2025 the Regional Logistics Hub and Centre of Excellence, where items to be used in cases of emergency are to be housed, will be put into action. Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams says the Caribbean needs to pool together to manage the aftermath of disasters as islands cannot do it alone.
