BAS gearing up for Agrofest 2024

The organiser of the island's biggest agricultural expo, Agrofest, has its eyes set on welcoming another participant from South America, besides Guyana and Suriname which are already involved. Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society, James Paul says an announcement will be made soon. Agrofest 2024 will be held under the theme, 'Securing Our Roots Through Agriculture' come February 23-25. Mr. Paul expects the event will be well patronised. With schools expected to be on mid-term break around the hosting of Agrofest, Mr. Paul says they are still open to welcoming students.
