BEC calls for a mandatory national standard of time
Employers across Barbados have been challenged to host an activity highlighting the importance of health and safety in the workplace. Executive Director of the Barbados Employers' Confederation (BEC), Sheena Mayers-Granville says this is one of the topics to be included during their week of activities. Other activities include the annual general meeting, a luncheon and panel discussion and a fireside chat. Additionally, BEC's President Gail-Ann King is calling for a mandatory national standard of time, which will need to be measured in weeks rather than days and discussed at the tripartite level.
