Beijing urges US to abide by one-China principle, stop arming Taiwan

Chinese military officials have told their US counterparts that Beijing will "never compromise" on the Taiwan issue. Both sides have wrapped up their first face-to-face meeting since January 2020, resuming policy coordination talks meant to take place yearly.
