Benedict's To Appeal Points Deduction

Following the 12-point deduction for St. Benedict's College in the Secondary Schools Football League, which saw them stripped of the 2024 Premiership title, Principal Gregory Quan Kep has indicated to TTT Sports that they will be appealing the decision. The La Romaine Lions suffered the deduction after captain Derrel Garica was judged to have illegally played in four league matches, following an investigation by the leagues disciplinary committee. In a previous interview with TTT Sports, SSFL President Merere Gonzales stated that St Benedict's would have up to January 3rd, today, to appeal the decision.
