Benjamin Netanyahu fires Defence Minister

Israel’s Prime Minister has fired his Defence Minister Yoav Gallant. Benjamin Netanyahu says a crisis of trust had developed between himself and Gallant and was impacting the management of the war. There have been reports Gallant has been increasing pressure on the Prime Minister to make a ceasefire and hostage deal. Israel Katz has been named as the new Defence Minister.
