Benjamin Netanyahu says ICC arrest warrant over alleged war crimes is 'antisemitic'

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) is "antisemitic" and "absurd". The court accuses Mr Netanyahu and his former defence minister Yoav Gallant of overseeing war crimes in Gaza and crimes against humanity. Israel's President Isaac Herzog has also called the decision "absurd" and says the court has "lost all legitimacy". Senior Hamas officials say warrants for the pair "benefit the Palestinian cause".
