‘Biased court’: ICC has ‘stepped outside its remit’ by issuing warrant for Netanyahu

Former British commander Richard Kemp has slammed the ICC for being a “biased court” which has “stepped outside its remit” by issuing a warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister Yoav Gallant. “It’s a biased court that has not only stepped outside its remit in doing this and its jurisdiction but it’s twisted every aspect of its own charter to bring this about,” Mr Kemp told Sky News Australia. “The ICC cannot try cases where there’s a country concerned that has the judiciary itself and the political will to carry out its own trials.”
