Biden administration having a ‘very hard time’ dealing with illegal immigration

Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says today’s Republican National Convention is expected to focus on “illegal immigration” and former US President Donald Trump’s plans to curve it with his “hardline policies”. “This has been a very strong policy base for Republicans coming into this election with record numbers of people coming over the southern border,” she said. “The Biden administration has had a very difficult time managing that with its previous statements on a more humane approach.”
