Biden hosts Trump at the White House: Biden and Trump pledge a 'smooth transition' of powe

President Joe Biden has met with President-elect Donald Trump in the oval office at the White House. Both men pledged a smooth transition from Democrat to Republican administrations. The meeting is a traditional courtesy by outgoing presidents and signifies the beginning of the transition process. Trump's team have yet to sign any official documents to formally begin the process.
