Biden painting his age as advantage in annual message ‘best way to attack’ issue, says analyst

United States President Joe Biden needed to address questions about his age during his State of the Union speech on Thursday (Mar 7) night, and the 81-year-old did that in what might be the best way possible, says Dr Trisha Craig, senior lecturer of Global Affairs at Singapore’s Yale-NUS College. She tells CNA’s Asia Now that presenting his age as an advantage, and that he has deep knowledge about the country, is “probably the best way to attack what is really a very difficult issue for him and his campaign".
