U.S. President Joe Biden will provide an update Friday on the federal government's response to Hurricane Milton. Cleanup is now underway in Florida after the powerful storm swept across the state, spawning deadly tornadoes, knocking out power for millions and damaging homes. At least ten people died in the storm and there was significant damage in areas — though the storm was not as bad as officials had feared it might be. The storm made landfall approximately 110 kilometres south of the Tampa Bay area, sparing the densely populated area a direct hit.
