Biden-Trump debate is a ‘gamble’ for the Democrats

The Australian’s Washington Correspondent Adam Creighton says the White House’s decision to request a debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is a “gamble”. Joe Biden and Donald Trump are set to face off in the first presidential debate on June 27. “If they hadn’t have had a debate, then that would’ve played into the Trump team too because they would have said that he’s just not up to it,” Mr Creighton said.
