Biden under pressure to get US citizens out of Haiti

After violent gangs in Haiti pushed the country's Prime Minister to resign, pressure is mounting on the Biden administration to evacuate all American citizens. The US state department says it does not have any current plans to do so. Citing previous travel warnings to US citizens not to travel to the country. It follows another group of marines arriving in Haiti earlier in the week to bolster security at the US embassy in Port-au-Prince, The Pentagon has said they were deployed to relieve forces already stationed there, and not to help Americans escape.
