Big Bear zoo animals return home after evacuation

Home sweet home! Animals that were evacuated during the height of the Line Fire in Big Bear got to return home this week. When flames from the wildfire surrounded the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, dozens of the animals were urgently evacuated and rushed to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert. But after the evacuation order was lifted, a volunteer helped the zoo transport the animals back to their habitat Thursday.
