‘Big bill’ likely for boat repairs

Some boat owners whose vessels were extensively damaged during the passage of Hurricane Beryl are hoping that Government throws them a financial lifeline. Some boat owners are also hoping their insurance companies will help get their boats back at sea. “The owners are waiting on the insurance companies. Between yesterday and today a lot of persons from insurance companies have been coming through taking photos and doing assessments; about 20 people came through here,” said Norville Ally, who has been repairing and building boats for 24 years.
