Bill Shorten to ‘keep contributing’ to people of Australia

NDIS Minister Bill Shorten says he wants to “keep contributing” to the people of Australia. “I think the best thing this country’s got going for this is minerals. They are great, but it’s our people,” Mr Shorten told Sky News Australia. “The best path for turning disadvantage into advantage is education.” The NDIS minister’s comments come after he announced he has taken the role as Vice Chancellor of the University of Canberra.
