‘Bitterly disappointed’: Sussan Ley reacts to Trump’s tariffs on Australia

Deputy Liberal Leader Sussan Ley says the Coalition is “bitterly disappointed” for Australians after US President Donald Trump placed 25 per cent tariffs on Australian steel and aluminium. “We take no pleasure in this outcome,” Mr Ley told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. “We are bitterly disappointed for Australians that this exemption was not secured. “This is a team Australia moment, but where was the captain of the team? He wasn’t there.”
