Black Family Development celebrates 46 years of serving Detroit’s African American community
Black Family Development, Inc. (BFDI), a leading nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of African American families, is celebrating more than two and a half decades of service to the Detroit community. Founded in 1978, the agency’s original focus on child abuse and neglect has since expanded to offer a broad range of counseling and advocacy services that address homelessness, juvenile justice, mental health, and more.
