Blair denies politics was a factor in warrant targeting Liberal powerbroker
Former public safety minister Bill Blair said Friday politics was not a factor when it came time to approve a spy service warrant to surveil an Ontario Liberal powerbroker. The delay with this particular warrant is now a central narrative in the second phase of Justice Marie-Josée Hogue’s public inquiry into foreign interference in Canadian elections. Nathaniel Dove reports on what Blair says he knew — and didn’t know.
