Blast wave from Yemen missile shatters windows in Tel Aviv | ABS-CBN News

The Israeli military said it failed to intercept a missile from Yemen early on Saturday (December 21) that fell in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area, and the ambulance service said 15 people received mild injuries. The remnants of the missile fell into a small garden in a residential area, creating a crater. The Israeli emergency service is currently investigating the extent of the damage. A 69-year-old resident and artist, Beth Shahai, described the scene in her living room and kitchen as "terrible". Shattered windows, glass fragments scattered everywhere, and her disarrayed household bore witness to the uneasy night she had. A spokesperson for the Iran-aligned Houthis said they had hit a "military target" in the Jaffa area with a ballistic missile. The Israeli police reported receiving reports of a fallen missile in a town in the Tel Aviv area.
