‘Blatantly ridiculous’: Ken Fisher on Kamala Harris’ proposed price gouging policy

Fisher Investments founder and executive chairman Ken Fisher has criticised Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ proposed policy to combat price gouging. Ms Harris said she would commit to advancing the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries. “The fact of the matter is there is so many different things you can choose from in supermarkets, nobody has to have this or that because there is so many substitutes,” Mr Fisher told Sky News Australia. “There is thin profit margins in almost all food items so that notion is a ridiculous notion and it won’t go anywhere.”
