Blood Cancers | Women 40% more likely to visit a doctor

Recent data has shown that women are 40% more likely to visit a doctor in order to address health concerns related to blood cancers. This includes leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. According to non-profit organisation DKMS Africa, South Africa faces a significant burden of these diseases. It says tailored awareness campaigns are needed to educate men about risks, symptoms and available resources for diagnosis and treatment. Courtesy #DStv403
