Former US defence secretary William Cohen says Iran “may be weaker” than the West realises. The Middle East is on the brink of an all-out war after Iran’s missile attack on Israel. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to retaliate, saying Tehran will pay. “Iran may be weaker than we realise,” Mr Cohen told Sky News Australia. “They have been operating for all of these years through their proxies, through Hezbollah, through Hamas, through Syria, the Houthis in Yemen. “They are at a point now where their ‘bluff’ has been called in the sense that they have hit Israel in a way that Israel is saying gloves are off, we’re coming after you.”
