Bodies found in SoCal desert near vehicle riddled with bullet holes; bodies appeared to be burned

Six people were found dead in a remote Mojave Desert area near El Mirage, prompting a homicide investigation, authorities said. Members of the sheriff's specialized investigations division responded to conduct the investigation and were seen examining a white minivan as well as a dark blue SUV riddled with bullet holes.
