A five-day Film Writing Bootcamp sponsored by the National Cultural Foundation could give local practitioners a chance for their short films to reach international audiences. The Bootcamp, which ends on April 7, is being conducted by international film producers and writers, and will give participants a chance to access $50,000 towards developing their short films. They are working with award-winning Producer Whitney Payne who has done several television series, Screenwriter, Producer and Presenter Tamara Aihie, and Actor and Filmmaker Femi Oyeniran. Participants were addressed by NCF's Senior Business Development Officer Andre Hoyte about the Bootcamp's purpose. He also spoke about the pitch day which would lead to the final story selection for film production.
