Born on 4 January 1920, Sally Bloom recently celebrated her 105th birthday
"I'm very lucky" At her party, Mrs Bloom and her loved ones danced to a Frank Sinatra tribute singer who serenaded her with the song Young At Heart. Mrs Bloom was born in Hackney and has since moved around London. During World War Two, she relocated to Maidenhead where she worked on a switchboard. Asked about her secret to living so long, she told BBC London: "I walk every day for one hour," adding: "If it's pouring with rain, I walk up and down the stairs." @bbclondon #London #Birthday #Family Subscribe and ???? to the BBC ???? https://bit.ly/BBCYouTubeSub Watch the BBC first on iPlayer ???? https://bbc.in/iPlayer-Home All our TV channels and S4C are available to watch live through BBC iPlayer, although some programmes may not be available to stream online due to rights.
