“BORROW WITH A PURPOSE”-LETSHEGO TO BORROWERS

In his fiscal research, Giles Aijukwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Letshego Uganda Germany, emphasized the importance of borrowing with a purpose that adds value. Speaking during at the the handover of cheques to winners of the Lets Go Back2School campaign in Kololo, Aijukwe cautioned borrowers against unnecessary expenses or consumption-driven loans, citing their contribution to rising default rates and lending risks in Uganda. Aijukwe highlighted the need for borrowers to seek financial advice and make informed decisions to navigate the financial landscape wisely.
