Botham Jean Family Win Multi-Million Dollar Award In Civil Case Against Ex-Cop

Botham Jean’s Family has been awarded close to $100M in a wrongful death civil case against former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger by a twelve-member jury. The family’s attorney says what is important is not how they will collect from Guyger but the message it sends to the families of other police brutality victims and the perpetrators themselves.
