Boxing Day sales: Expectations and tips for a stress-free shopping experience revealed

Today marks one of the busiest shopping days on the calendar, with thousands of customers flocking to shopping centres to take advantage of the Boxing Day sales. Chadstone shopping centre manager Daniel Boyle joined Sky News Australia to share his expectations for the day and offer valuable tips for shoppers. According to Mr Boyle, Chadstone is expecting a massive turnout of around 150,000 customers, all eager to snag some amazing deals. “We start preparing for this peak trading season back in June,” he said. “We really work hard to make sure that not only are the retailers ready to offer terrific bargains for Boxing Day but the customer experience ... is positive. “We’ve seen improvements in consumer confidence over the last couple of months, and there’s no doubt that customers are taking advantage of deals right from Black Friday through to Christmas and now Boxing Day.”
