Bronte Beach Christmas Day party leaves trail of garbage

A Sydney Christmas Day party at Bronte Beach has stirred controversy after partygoers left piles of rubbish for council workers to clean up in its wake. More than 250 additional garbage bags were placed by Waverley City Council in anticipation but this had little effect. Council revealed staff had been working since eight o'clock last night to clean up the area, with a garbage truck operating throughout the day.
